Event Details
The area's premier choral group returns to the GLCFA stage in celebration of their 35th anniversary with a program celebrating the importance of music in our lives and community and in praise of the natural beauty that surrounds us. With the world première of a commissioned piece by Northern Michigan composer Jeffrey Cobb, which draws on Ojibwe culture and lore to tell a deeper story about not only the beauty but the meaning and impact of each of the seasons, there is also music by Franz Schubert, Leonard Bernstein, Gwyneth Walker, and Eric Whitacre, amongst others.
