Join Great Lakes Center for the Arts for a special holiday-themed double-screening, Saturday, December 17! Featuring Frozen at 3:00PM and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation at 8:00PM. Your $8 ticket allows you to watch both films or you can purchase a ticket to either film for $5.

As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), and children as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark's employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs.

Christmas Vacation Ugly Sweater Contest
You'll want to dig deep into your closet for the 8:00PM screening of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Anyone who comes into the theater wearing an ugly sweater will be entered to win a gift certificate good for four tickets to an upcoming event at Great Lakes Center for the Arts! It doesn't matter if it's poinsettias, snowflakes, or Santas, just as long as it's cringe-worthy.
Dorothy Gerber Strings Pre-Show Performance
Add to your experience and enjoy a pre-show performance by the Dorothy Gerber Strings Youth Orchestra. This special presentation of festive holiday favoites will begin at 2:30PM.
The Dorothy Gerber Strings Program offers opportunities for students from four years old through seniors in high school, including in-school strings classes, individual lessons, and a growing youth orchestra program.
