David  Taylor  Gomes, Music Director

David Taylor Gomes (he/they) is a composer, music director, and actor, best known for writing  Boxed Up: The Musical and Ranked, featured in the HBO Documentary “My So-Called High School Rank.” David was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2023 Eugene O’Neill National Music Theatre Conference for his new musical in development The Way. David also co-founded UproarTheatrics.com, a theatrical licensing company. In Seattle David has worked with Village Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Taproot Theatre, Showtunes, Artswest, and Seattle Children's Theatre. He has also performed at Sacramento Theatre Company, Capital Stage, and the iconic Birdland Jazz Club in NYC. In addition to performing, David coaches singers, songwriters, and pianists at his music studio in Seattle. His students have performed on Broadway, national tours, The Disney Channel, and many regional theatres across the US.  @daytaygo 

Matthew Kacergis, Director

Matthew joined the GLCFA team in 2019 as Director of Programming and was appointed Executive Director in October 2022. As of August 1st, he will become GLCFA’s second Artistic Director. A professional actor and vocalist for nearly two decades, he has been seen on stages throughout the country, including Ford’s Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Olney Theatre Center, Ogunquit Playhouse, Village Theatre, the 5th Avenue Theatre, and many others. Favorite roles include Marius in Les Misérables, Tony in Billy Elliot, Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard, Mother’s Younger Brother in Ragtime, Georg Nowack in She Loves Me, and starring as Prince Eric on the National Tour of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. He’s performed solo concerts for the Sun Valley Opera, BYU-Idaho, and Atlanta Lyric Theatre. Recent directing credits include Godspell and Music of the Night. This season, he will direct Mamma Mia at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts and Fiddler on the Roof for Studio East in Kirkland, WA. 

Delphi Borich

Delphi Borich Broadway: Into the Woods, Camelot (u/s Guenevere). Delphi has played Cinderella in R+H’s Cinderella(National Tour), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (TUTS), and Ariel in The Little Mermaid (TUTS)! Other credits include originating the role of May Welland in The Age of Innocence (The Old Globe), Twelfth Night (Dallas Theatre Center), Our Town (Lyceum Theatre), Gloria (Asolo Rep), Austen's Pride (5th Avenue), Peter and the Starcatcher (Barn Stage Company), and more. Jason Weitkamp

Jason Weitkamp is so excited to join this wonderful team to perform music that inspired him to become a performer in his youth. He was most recently seen in Seattle in Something’s Afoot (Clive) and Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Chef Louis) at the 5th Avenue Theater and Beautiful (Righteous Brother) at the Village Theatre. He has close ties with Mickey having performed aboard Disney Cruise Lines and at Walt Disney World in Finding Nemo the Musical (Crush). 

Coleman Cummings

Coleman Cummings (They/He) is honored to be making Disney Magic here at GLCFA! Coleman has always been a huge Disney fan and is thrilled to be sharing the love. Favorite credits include: Roger (Rent-25th anniversary tour), Dmitry (Anastasia-Regional Premiere), Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid-5th Ave & La Mirada), Chip (….Spelling Bee-George Street Playhouse), and Gabe (Next to Normal). @colemanscummings 

Sophia Manicone

Miranda D. Lawson

Miranda D. Lawson, a Florida native and California transplant, is overjoyed to have found herself in Michigan, back with her dear friend David. Her career as an actor, vocalist, theatre administrator, and educator has spanned the country. She takes pride in her voice studio, which is a testament to her success, with students from all over the nation. Her notable roles include Effie in Dreamgirls, Olive in …Spelling Bee, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Levora in Disaster, and Ms. Peacock in Clue!
