“From Boston to Bay Harbor: A Night at the Ballet” is a one-night-only gala performance featuring leading dancers of Boston Ballet and students of the Northern Michigan Youth Ballet Ensemble. The performance will include three iconic classical pas de deux—Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, and Le Corsaire—alongside neoclassical and contemporary works by renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine and William Forsythe. Spanning works from 1890 to 2022, this collection showcases the full spectrum of repertoire performed by professional ballet companies worldwide.
Master Classes – June 14
The Knight Family Legacy will also be incorporating an educational opportunity for all dance students in the Northern Michigan community. Boston Ballet dancers will be teaching master classes on the morning of June 14th. These master classes are open to the public and anyone is encouraged to take advantage of learning from these world-class ballet dancers.

Pre-Show Talk – 6:30PM
Before the performance, ticket holders have exclusive access to a pre-show talk onstage with Boston Ballet Principal Dancer and BTBH Ballet Artistic Director, Paul Craig. Come learn about the pieces that will be performed, gain insight into the Northern Michigan Youth Ballet Ensemble mentorship, ask questions, and hear about his journey to becoming a professional ballet dancer.ns, and hear firsthand about Paul’s journey to becoming a professional dancer.
Gala Reception – Immediately Following the Performance
Join us after the curtain falls for an elegant gala reception honoring the performance. Cocktail attire recommended. Mingle with fellow patrons and the best of Boston Ballet, take pictures, enjoy a selection of drinks, and celebrate the grace, passion, and joy that dance brings to life.
