DESCRIPTION:From Boston to Bay Harbor: A Night at the Ballet returns to Northern Michigan for a one-night-only gala performance featuring leading dancers of Boston Ballet alongside talented students from the Bay Harbor Ballet Intensive.The evening’s programming presents the absolute best of classical, neo-classical, and contemporary ballet. The repertoire features celebrated works by two absolute American masters of choreography: George Balanchine and William Forsythe—visionaries who fundamentally reshaped how the world thinks of ballet. From breathtaking classical pas de deux to revolutionary contemporary movements, this performance highlights the full, dynamic spectrum of the art form.All ticket holders are invited to join Ballet Coast to Coast Artistic Director, Paul Craig, onstage at 6:45pm for an intimate pre-show discussion detailing the evening's repertoire.Immediately following the performance, join us for a celebratory reception.
