Northern Michigan Chorale Presents: Soaring Into Spring
800 Bay Harbor Drive
Petoskey, MI 49770
The Northern Michigan Chorale has canceled this concert due to the current health crisis with hopes to reschedule this summer if possible. Updates will be posted at NMChorale.org.
We hope you’ll attend our fall concerts at the Center November 21 & 22.
Our voices go out to you and your families with songs of peace and love and we know that staying apart will bring us together again.
The Northern Michigan Chorale is celebrating 38 years of performing exciting concerts for their wonderful audiences. The vocal ensemble, made up of 70 voices from teens to senior citizens, represents singers from the Straights to Gaylord and produces two concerts each year. They enjoy entertaining at local care facilities and special events throughout the region, including free concerts in the park.
The Crooked Tree Arts Center awarded the Chorale their Eddi Award for "Best Arts and Cultural Organization for the benefit of the citizens of Charlevoix and Emmet Counties". The Chorale awards Vocal Music Scholarships each May to area residents who want to improve their singing through private lessons or summer programs and camps.
Led by Julie Pierpont, the Chorale's spring performance includes Broadway favorites from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Berstein, Irving Berlin, and George Gershwin, plus a variety of offerings from today's top composers, all accompanied by the very talented Cynda Coleman.
As a non-profit organization, the Northern Michigan Chorale is very grateful to the Great Lakes Center and local sponsors for their continued support.
